HOW DO I GET TO THE FREEWAY FROM THE BMOHBC?

There are several convenient ways to get to I-43/I-94 from the Center. Please see map for on-ramps referenced below. The structure (P on the map) has exits onto both Highland Ave (E/W) and 6th Street (N/S) – either allows for easy access to freeway.

1. McKinley Ave/Park Fwy – Access to both I-43 and I-94 and all directions. Exit structure and head north on 6th St. Turn left (west) onto McKinley Ave. On-ramps straight ahead. This ramp is heavily traveled and will have significant delays; see below for alternate on-ramps to shorten your travel time.

2. Highland Ave – Direct access to I-43 N to Green Bay; head west on W. Highland Ave and at top of the hill turn right onto I-43 North. You can also access I-43/94 S to Chicago and I-94 W to Madison by continuing west over bridge at top of hill and turning left onto 11th St frontage road (first light over bridge). Freeway access is 2 blocks south on 11th St (to Chicago stay left, to Madison keep to right).

3. Kilbourn Ave – Direct access to I-43 N to Green Bay. (not accessible if exiting onto 6th Street – use Highland Ave option for I-43N) From W. Highland Ave, head south on 6th St for 2 blocks and turn right at tunnel on-ramp.
