Professional Bull Riders Buck Into Milwaukee

Tickets for April 8 event on sale December 16

(MILWAUKEE – December 12, 2016) The PBR’s (Professional Bull Riders) Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour will bring its thrilling, adrenaline-filled, edge-of-your seat excitement to the BMO Harris Bradley Center on April 8, 2017. It will be the Velocity Tour’s second consecutive trip to Milwaukee, after a successful debut in 2016.

For one night only, some of the best bull riders in the world will battle the sport’s toughest bovine athletes. The thrilling 8-second rides and heart-stopping wrecks make the PBR’s Velocity Tour one of the most exciting live sporting events to see.

“We saw the excitement and enthusiasm that Milwaukee showed the Professional Bull Riders event last spring, so we are thrilled to have them back again this year,” said Steve Costello, the Center’s president and CEO.  “It’s amazing to see the athleticism required to get to the ideal 8-second ride.”

The bull riding action begins at 6:00 pm CT on Saturday, April 8. Tickets, ranging in price from $15 to $150, go on sale Friday, December 16 to the general public and are available at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Ticket Office, online at www.ticketmaster.com, and by phone at (800) 745-3000.

Available for purchase are PBR Elite Seats. This $150 ticket includes premium seating and a 60 minute pre-event tour that will allow fans to step out on the dirt and behind the scenes to take in everything that goes into putting on the Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour. Elite Seat holders will also be given the opportunity to go one-on-one with World Champion-caliber bull riders as well as some of the fiercest bucking bulls in the sport.

Each rider will face one bull in Round 1 with the Top 10 scoring riders of the night moving on to one more ride in the championship round. At the end of the competition, the rider with the highest combined score will be crowned the champion.  Last year’s event was won by Brazilian rider Juliano Antonio da Silva.

Milwaukee will be the 19th stop on the 2017 Velocity Tour, which spans the country in cities including Oakland, California; Portland, Oregon; Dayton, Ohio; Bangor, Maine and Birmingham, Alabama.

The 2017 Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour will culminate with the Velocity Tour Finals at South Point Arena in Las Vegas on Oct. 28-30, leading into the PBR’s 2017 Built Ford Tough World Finals. The winner of the Velocity Tour Finals, the second- and third-place finishers, and the top international performer, along with the 2017 Velocity Tour Champion, will each qualify to compete at the PBR World Finals.
